Junior PHP WordPress Web Developer
We’re in need of another couple of PHP developers to join the team. These positions will be based from our HQ office on Gillingham High-Street.
We have a broad range of work including Laravel and Cake, but would prioritise candidates that have experience with WordPress.
We are open to various skill levels, but for these roles, you will need to have a good level of PHP knowledge, even if you still require Stackoverflow as a reference 😉
Due to rapid growth and the upcoming launch of our second franchise, we would love for these team members to have the aspiration to become a senior member of the team.
Compensation
Depending on experience: £22,000 – £30,000 per annum + benefits and bonus.
The role has a clear progression, including profit share and for the right candidates, their own franchise area.
The Team
Our current team of 21 are a mixture of remote workers and office based. This next phase of our growth means that we’ll prioritise candidates that can be here in person. The team has a broad mix of skills, from design, content, video and various programming skill-sets. We also have a tech repair branch on the same high street.
The Work
We have just over 2,100 customers, including several major household names. We specialise in working with start-ups that need more than a standard brochure site, so the majority of our website work will be built on WordPress, but with custom themes, various integrations, or custom plugin creation. Our PHP developers also build the APIs for our app developers and some cross over to App development themselves.
Typical tasks would vary based on your skill-set, but include:
- Making functionality amends to existing sites
- Building the core functionality of new websites
- Integrating feeds and APIs
- Resolving your share of support tickets (assigned to the best person by the PM)
- Working on our internal projects / just for fun work
