About SBS
SBS is a competition that Dragon’s Den legend Theo Paphitis hosts every Sunday where business owners have to Tweet him their sales pitch in just one tweet. Martin Mullen and his Twitter focused business was selected by Theo in 2017 and he is easily one of the most active members of the SBS family!
About the company
FirstTMaster was set-up by Martin to help small businesses and bloggers to grow their Twitter following quickly and with little effort. Martin offers complete management of your Twitter account for just over £6,000 a year and weekly packages for those looking to dip their toe in.
For the budget conscious, he also has a great value starter package where he will do 4 tweets about your business every day for a year, for just £5 a week! I know right!
Website / Ordering process
As a web agency, of course we have to start the review on the website and thank Odin we finally get to review a site that isn’t built on Wix! So points for building the site on WordPress and having the great Yoast SEO plugin set-up. Personally I’d like to see more content on the site, perhaps examples of his work, info about his SBS award, news and testimonials.
The site is mobile friendly, but could do with some design TLC, particularly around the menu.
The Service
I purchased the 4 posts a day package and Martin has been religiously posting. What’s great about even his starter package is that he’s not blindly posting the same thing for you daily. He researches the best hashtags and hours for your business and posts when people are active on them. While we haven’t seen much traffic to our website from the posts, we have definitely seen new followers.
What I love most is the mental impact. Having a constant stream of mentions causes you to check Twitter and often gives you the kick up the butt you need to do a Tweet. It’s great waking up to an earlybiz tweet for instance.
