With the August grading coming around the corner, many people are striving to make sure that they can get their tips and ensure that they know everything that they will need for their grading.
As our grading is closing in now, we’re spending our time trying to get the tips that we need so that we’re able to grade. The first Week was spent mainly on line work and Step-Sparring, as we spent a lot of time on patterns, so this was the chance to see who needed to work on what.
Week two was spent on refining our Step Sparring, as lots of people who are eligible to grade aren’t 100% confident with their step-sparing. As I already have all my tips, I prioritised helping others learn their step sparring.
Week three was spent on a combination of patterns and theory by going through the patterns in our Saboms (instructor) time, and every time we did a move, he would ask one of us to describe parts of the move in Korean, like what stance we were in and what technique we were using.
Week four was spent putting all of it together and doing some line work to see if anyone could get their line work tip.
With August slowly approaching, it’s crucial that we all put our effort into ensuring that we have the tips necessary for grading.
Stay tuned, stay super, and I'll see you next time!
