In a world that has become overrun by the number of people using and having access to AI tools, many people are able to generate things and "replace" the need for human creatives. So, what are the benefits of having human-made creatives rather than relying on AI-generated content? Well, in this blog, we'll dive into this topic and give our insights on what makes human creatives slightly better.
Humans are the best creatures at storytelling, and luckily for you, marketing is all about storytelling. Whether you're marketing or creating a brand, storytelling is a key part of the process. One thing is for sure and it's that people don't buy from businesses, they buy from people. One way that you can help increase the connection your customers have with your business is by creating a story of how it came about. Whether it was being told you're not going to get paid, or you starting out in your garage, each brand has a story, and it's your job to tell it.
There's something about AI-generated content that just doesn't feel "human", do you ever look at a piece of content and go "oh, that's AI". It's hard to describe but by knowing that your content is written by humans for humans it give a feeling that you care and that your goal is more important than saving money. For example, if you're an eco-sustainable company and that is one of your primary objectives, then not using AI in your content generation could be a great way to boost and promote your story. Having human-made content makes your brand feel authentic and can build a connection with your customers.
One thing that AI is notably worse than humans at is our attention to detail. AIs can skip certain parts or rewrite something that makes the main point feel less potent, but a human understands the intent behind words or phrases and can use this to their advantage. The same applies to illustrations and images, humans can place things in certain areas or in a way that gets their desired feeling across. Humans are detail-driven creatures, and being able to place important details is a key part of being human.
AI is obviously great for those who don't have the money to hire an entire team of creatives, but if you do, then you should look to prioritise hiring people rather than AI. AI is great but having humans do the jobs that they have been trained to do is much better, not only are you giving people jobs that can help them support their lively hoods, but chances are that the content they create is better then any AI-generated content, Sure, the Studio Ghibli art work is amazing but shouldn't we try to recreate it with our own time and skills rather than a borrowed pencil.
Take our Superheros, not the ones that are on our about page for our team section, but the ones that you see scattered around our site where hand-illustrated by an artist. Getting a trained artist to do something is much easier than getting AI to do something. There's something about someone's work, whether it's writing or artwork, you can tell that they put a lot of time into it, they had to study, learn, redo, revisit, all sorts of parts for it to become what we see.
"It is the jouney that makes the goal worth it"
Now, the next time that you have a project,t I hope you'll look towards investing in our people rather than just AI. AI was meant to be a companion, not a replacement.
So stay tuned, stay super, and I'll see you next time!
